Founded in Ottawa, Ontario in 2019, Finely Tuned Elephant is a Canadian instrumental jazz/rock fusion experience. Finely Tuned Elephant pulls inspiration from a diverse spectrum, folding together influences from world music, contemporary jazz, and progressive metal – to name only a few. Consequently, Finely Tuned Elephant is an explosive auditory adventure, known for technical yet catchy compositions and electrifying live performances. Finely Tuned Elephant is Jordan Robinson (guitars), Cyrus Robertson Orkish (bass), and Kyle Iveglia (drums).

Finely Tuned Elephant’s self-produced debut album, Perfect Coincidence, was released in October 2020, receiving praise in the Ottawa music community. Despite having endured several logistical nightmares, including, but not limited to: rolling lockdowns, postponed/cancelled shows, and a lineup transformation, Finely Tuned Elephant has continued to push forward without hesitation! At long last, the second creation in the Finely Tuned Elephant metaverse has been released upon the world. It is entitled The Fast Life. With the first ideas originating from October 2020, this album has gone through quite a journey! Prepare to have your minds melted and your hearts serenaded. Conceptually, The Fast Life represents the all too fast passage of time and the chaotic nature of modern life. Finely Tuned Elephant’s second full length self-produced album and finest work to date, “The Fast Life”, was released on March 4th, 2022.
