Kenny Hayes

Kenny Hayes is an award-winning* Ottawa-based singer-songwriter, actor, performer and teacher. He wrote, arranged, mixed, and produced his first EP Lightning…and Other Fears, released in 2022, which also included his first single Shower You Off Me. He collaborated with Ottawa singer-songwriter Alex Diab to pen Alex’s single All My Days, and with Dutch songwriter & producer Bryan Robert for their single My Mind Goes Like (Nanana). Kenny’s music has received acclaim on multiple stages including concerts of his original music. He’s written original scores for plays and musicals, including Ottawa productions of Daniel MacIvor’s Canadian classic Marion Bridge (*Armagh Sifton-Price Award – Best Original Score & Theme Song), and Greek-comedy-turned-musical Lysistrata where his music “sparkles with delightful harmonies” (Carroll, 2019). Most recently, he put his songwriting and production chops to work again for the holiday season to make way for his single ‘Eggnog Latte’, being released December 1. Kenny and Bryan Robert teamed up once again to bring to life Kenny’s Pride anthem This Love Is Our Love, coming February 1 2024.
