The Ottawa Jazz Quintet

The Ottawa Jazz Quintet is fronted by two horns (trumpet & trombone) and a three piece rhythm section (piano, bass, drums) made up of seasoned players well-known in the local jazz scene. Our unique set list travels through the decades, featuring our own arrangements (arr. by Jean Trudel) of memorable tunes by Freddie Hubbard, Tom Harrell, Horace Silver and many others. The group’s repertoire is highlighted by exceptional “in the pocket” performances with superb soloists. Beautiful melodies, swing, Latin jazz, soul, funk etc. all in one tight performance for your enjoyment.
