James Arif Noise Komplaints (JANK)
JANK is an Ottawa-based street brass band led by James Arif on Sousaphone, with Matthew Evans on alto Saxophone, and Dylan Cudmore on Drumset and marching Percussion. They perform a mix of old-time trad jazz best suited to a New Orleans street corner, funky, more modern jazz befitting the hippest studio environment, and pop classics that would be right at home in your local pub, all played in a high-energy, improvisation-dense brass brand style.
