Renowned as a maestro of Afro-jazz, Miguel de Armas introduced his music to the Ottawa scene in 2012, blending the rhythmic tapestry of African polyrhythms with the intricate allure of American jazz, blues, roots, and global melodies.

Since then, Miguel de Armas has been an integral part of Ottawa’s musical landscape, spearheading a Latin Jazz Quartet that pulses with vibrant rhythms and captivating harmonies.
